Booksy wanted to spotlight wellness and beauty providers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and show people how easy it is to ‘book the look’ online. So we teamed up with local legend Bryan ‘The Texas Law Hawk’ Wilson and then hijacked and defaced his iconic billboards with graffiti that actively showed off the work of a Booksy professional. We vandalized three of his billboards and gave them new nails, tattoos, and a new do. Then we finally tagged them again to show you where you could book the look yourself.
Basically, we used vandalism for the power of good.
We then went to Brian’s Instagram and created a content series in which he bragged and then subsequently mourned his precious billboards.
We even got some influencer buzz.
